Colour Party of the 32nd Glasgow

The Officer carrying the
King’s Colour is Tom Ewing,
and carrying the Company Colour
is Andrew McPherson.


 Andrew McPherson, son of the Glasgow Battalion Secretary, served with Bomber Command during the Second World War and was the first person to be awarded the DFC (Distinguished Flying Cross); shortly after receiving the award he was killed when his aircraft was shot down over Holland...
